Brooks Free Library Fall for Harwich 2009

Thursday, September 17, 6:30 pm, “Fall Birds on Cape Cod: What to See and Where to Go” Bob Prescott, Director of Mass Audubon’s Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary will share birding tips for one of the Atlantic Flyway’s main stops.

Saturday, September 19, 2 pm, John Dirac, Guitarist. An afternoon of classical and jazz music at the library.

Saturday, September 26, 2:00 pm, Seaside Clowns at Brooks Park. Join the Stewart Family, former Barnum & Bailey Circus Clowns for an afternoon of fun. In case of rain, show will be held at Brooks Free Library.

Saturday, September 26, 2-4:00 pm Cahoon Painting Open House Fifteen Charles Cahoon paintings and other library art and antiques will be featured in the library’s Local History Room.

Saturday, October 3, 2:00 pm, Early People of Bell’s Neck & Herring River. Join archaeologist, Fred Dunford, as he shares his life’s study of the artifacts left behind by the people who lived 6,000 years ago in what is now West Harwich.

Saturday, October 10, 2:00 pm Pitter Patter Puppets. Perfect for toddlers and pre-schoolers, this show features a lot of audience interaction.
